While an associate at the firm, Mr. Eshelman simultaneously worked as assistant public defender for Berks County and gained valuable knowledge of local criminal law procedure. He became a partner at Stevens & Lee in 1978.
Eager to devote more of his attention to defending people accused of crimes, he opened his law firm in 1983. With more than 40 years in private practice, Mr. Eshelman is one of the most experienced criminal defense attorneys in Berks County.
